Lakeside Sauna

Area

The facilities of Taitoloma are located  by lake Ylä-Pieksä, in its southern spit, with a beach line ranging over 200 metres with a hectare of grass field.
There is a workshop for  handicraft, accommodation building, lakeside sauna and beach hut on the ground. Facilities and the courtyard roads provide access also for the physically handicapped.

Workshop

For handicraft skills a spacious workshop, which works perfectly as an exhibition room, was finished in 2006. There is a kitchen (which is only for handicrafts work purpose) attached to the  workshop with water supply, washing machines, ceramic oven, and efficient extractor.

In the office of the workshop there are wide collection handicrafts books, magazines and teaching material. Cordless 2 megabits broadband net connection, flip chart, DVD-player and 42 inches plasma television are also available.

On the large terrace there is a collection of rocking chairs, in which you can enjoy in gorgeous lake scene while having a short break.
Upstairs there are accommodation premises for 2-3 persons.   

Summerhouse

Accommodation premises were renovated in summer 2007 in the two floor house, which was built in 1984. There are six spacious double rooms for vacationers to use.

Upstairs there are four rooms and hall, shower and toilet.

Downstairs is spacious living room, kitchen, shower, toilet and service room. The two accommodation rooms downstairs suit physically handicapped persons.

Lakeside sauna

Lakeside sauna is also new building. There are spacious steam room, washroom, dressing room and toilet. In the comfortable living room there is enough room for bigger groups to spend their evenings. There are also accommodation facilities in the building.

On  three sides the sauna is surrounded by a cosy terrace providing a view to a low, sandy beach from the front side.

Beside of the sauna there is a beach hut and campfire place. You can also stay over night there. A boat, a canoe and fishing and other equipment needed for water activities are available on the beach.
